The Gen3 has changed the game for hardshell rooftop tents in New Zealand. This tent is built out of extremely high quality materials, to a very high standard.

Loaded with unique features, to enable you to have an amazing camping adventure. Fully tested in our savage climate here in New Zealand. The tent is also very large, enabling the extra long kiwi blokes to have a great night sleep.

Set up- open the two latches, push the top shell up (the gas struts do most of the work), then push out the telescopic poles to extent the rainfly and you will be set up for the night (takes 50 seconds).

Canvas- Body 280 gsm Ripstop polycotton, rainfly on roof 420D Double Ripstop Oxford Fabric. The fabric is extremely waterproof (PU 5,000mm meaning it is one of the highest waterproof rating of any rooftop tent in New Zealand). The canvas can be removed within 10 minutes, meaning if you are to damage the canvas in any way, you can easily zip it off and replace it with a new canvas.

Two telescopic poles help support both the canvas and aluminium lid of the tent during high winds, snow and rainfall.

XL Windows

Large windows provide panoramic views, improved airflow, natural light, and reduced condensation—making rooftop tents feel more spacious, comfortable, and connected to the views.

Blackout Canvas

When fully ziped up, this tent is completely dark inside, even when the sun is up. This means you can sleep in on those dusty Sunday mornings, or sleep when you feel like it.

Sturdy Roof Racks

Slim roof racks, with 8 sturdy bolts holding them onto the tent roof. Fully adjustable to be able to mount many different accessories.

Three Entrances

Three seperate access points, all with ladder mounts, giving you three entrance options.

14cm Packdown

14cm pack down - Making the tent streamline and fuel efficient, enabling you to keep in on your roof more often, and fit into smaller sheds/garages.

Rivet-less Roof

Rivets are known to come loose, and leak over time. Our tents are fully rivet-less, meaning your tent will be reliable for a long time.

USB Light

3 colour options, and dimming settings for those romantic camping trips.

Large sky window

Enabling you to star gaze, or let natural light in during the day. When open can help warm air escape during hot nights. Fully zips up during cold/wet weather.

Internal Gas struts

Protected from the elements such as salt spray, dirt and sand. Significantly reduces wind drag/noise and being ripped off/damaged by branches and banks while 4x4ing.

2.3m Telescopic Ladder

Can easily fit on taller cars/trailers and smaller vehicles. Comes with canvas preotection cover. Can handle upto 150kg.

XL Shoe Bag

Slides in channel just outside the tent, keeping your shoes close and dry when climbing in. Has 5 pockets to keep camping gear in e.g lights, toothbrush. Contains mesh bottom to allow air to dry shoes.

Anti-Condensation mat

Under the mattress. Prevents condensation building up, and provides comfort.

Installing information

The distance between the front and back roof rack on your vehicle should be more than 800mm, and both the roof racks and vehicle should have a minimum dynamic load rating of 75kg. Please check with your vehicle manufacturer that the roof is suitable to handle the weight. This tent can not be mounted to both the cab and canopy of a ute, as the Ute can flex, resulting in damaging the tent.
